Information on Data Processing for the Websites

This document describes how the personal data of the users visiting the websites https://www.selexi.it and www.selexitestcenter.it is processed.

Purposes of Processing, Duration and Legal Basis

Support or Contact Requests

Data sent via contact forms or email includes the sender’s address and any other provided personal data. Legal basis: requested service provision. Retention: up to 10 years.

Room Reservation Requests

Handled similarly to support requests. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps. Retention: up to 10 years.

Training Courses

For participants:

• Name – for attendance tracking
• Date/place of birth, tax code – for certificates
• Phone number (optional) – for emergencies

For lecturers and professionals: contact info and CVs.

Legal basis: contract and legitimate interest. Retention: 10 years (plus 1 in backups).

Participants’ emails may be used to promote related training (until opt-out).

Some courses may require video conferencing tools hosted in the U.S.; usage requires explicit consent.

Social Media

Joint data control with social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn). Data processed via platform tools for interaction, insights, marketing. Legal basis: user consent & legitimate interest. Data handled per platform policies and deleted upon request.

Business Contacts

Processed to respond to requests. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retained until data subject requests deletion.

Newsletter

Only email address is processed. Legal basis: contract performance. Retained until unsubscribe.

Suppliers

Data may relate to individuals or contacts at companies. Legal basis: contract or legitimate interest. Retained up to 10 years after last invoice or legal action.

CVs and Interviews

Data used for assessment and hiring. Legal basis: service request. Retained for 10 years unless the individual is hired.

Disclosure to Third Parties and Transfers Outside EEA

Some data may be processed by IT providers on behalf of Selexi. Video conferencing tools may involve non-EEA data transfer. Contracts ensure data is processed only for necessary purposes.

Rights of the Data Subject

As per current laws, you may:

• Access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your data
• Withdraw consent, unless prevented by law
• Lodge a complaint with Selexi or with Italy’s Data Protection Authority
